Another very successful day in our charity calendar of events, the Kufa Cup finals, held at the NTC ( National Tennis Centre).

The Ngoni Kufa Cup Finals tournament was held at the National Tennis Centre in London

Congratulations to the winners:

Ladies Singles winner was Sally Wetten and runner-up was Jacki  Withers,

Men's singles winner was Glen Campbell and runner-up was Adam Depaeztron,

Ladies doubles winners were Jacki Withers & Prabjit Khera  and runners-up were Chiedza Mutasa & Sally Wetten

Men's doubles winners were Adam Depaeztron & Steve Gardner and runners-up were Robert Jones & Mutlu Yucebas

Mixed doubles winners were Mario Cuber &  Magdelena Jeremko and runners-up were Mutlu Yucebas & Anne Coleyn Foulkes

14th & 15th September 2019, 

The Ngoni Kufa Cup Coventry Preliminary round tournament was held at War Memorial Park Tennis Club, Coventry.

Congratulations to the winners:

Ladies Singles winner was Jacki & runner-up was Magdalena, Men's singles winner was Adam & runner-up was Simon, Mixed doubles winners were Cliff & Jacki and runners-up were Geri & Paula, Men's doubles winners were Adam & Steve  and runners-up were Andy & Simon, Ladies doubles winners were Jacki & Jan  and runners-up were Prabjit & Magdalena.

The winners of the tournament will play the tennis officials winners in the Kufa cup finals which will be held on 17th November at NTC in  London

Congratulations to the winners of the Association of British Tennis Officials (ABTO) Kufa Cup 2019 held at The Gardens Tennis Club, Wimbledon.

The tournament results are as follows:
Ladies Singles winner was Caroline De Lasoujeole and runner-up was Pam Henry

Men's Singles winner was Glen Campbel and runner-up was Tom Plowman

Ladies doubles winners were Nina Amato & Pam Henry and runners-up were Magdalena Jaremko & Terrie Manoah

Men's doubles winners were Collen Mhlanga & Stelio Carlos Joacqium and runners-up were Mutlu Yucebas & Robert Jones

Mixed doubles winners were Mutlu Yucebas & Caroline De Lasoujeole  and runners-up were Collen Mhlanga & Anna Botsie

Congratulations to the winners of the Kufa Cup Finals 2018 held at the NTC (National Tennis Centre) in London. A big thank you to LTA for allowing us to use their tennis courts and to players from the Association of British Tennis Officials(ABTO), War Memorial Park Tennis Club and Zimbabwe Tennis Club UK and  everyone for making the 2018 Kufa Cup Finals a success.

The Kufa Cup tournament for tennis officials held at the National Tennis Centre , London was a success. A big thank you to LTA for the provision of tennis courts for free and to players from the Association of British Tennis Officials(ABTO), War Memorial Park Tennis Club and Zimbabwe Tennis Club (UK) for taking part in the tournament. Congratulations to the tournament winners and the Runners up.

Ladies doubles: Winners were Pam Henry & Nina Amato, runners up were Chris Bury and Nancy Stephens.

Mixed doubles: Winners were Mutlu Yucebas & Mary Pat Rose, runners up were Brian Matthews and Nancy Stephens

Men's singles: Winner was Mutlu Yucebas, runner up was Ned Molyneux.

Men's doubles: Winners were Michael Mhangami & Mutlu Yucebas, runners up were Kossam Mhangami & Robert Jones

The Ngoni Kufa Cup Coventry Preliminary round tournament was held at War Memorial Park Tennis Club, Kenilworth Road, Coventry, CV3 6GF,

Results were: Ladies Singles - winner was Nancy & runner-up was Anna, Men's singles winner was Adam & runner-up was Shungu, Mixed doubles winners were Collen & Rebecca and runner-ups were Dan & Becky, Men's doubles winners were Adam & Steve and runner-ups were Dan & Simon, Ladies doubles winners were Anna & Katie and runner-ups were Terrie & Chiedza.

The winners of the tournament will play the tennis officials winners in the Kufa cup finals which will be held on 10 December at NTC in  London

 

13 August 2016, 

 BBQ & Social tennis event to raise funds for the project to build a tennis court for disavantaged kids at a primary school in Zimbabwe was successfully held at Marston Green tennis club in Birmingham. A big thank you to all who took part in the event and to the committe and members of the club for the provision of the venue & facilities for free.

We had an exciting quize night event at Coventry and Warwickshire sports club in Coventry. Thanks to the quize master, organising committe and participants for making it a success.

We launched a project to provide tennis facilities to a primary school in Zimbabwe attended by Ngoni Kufa. The school has no tennis facilities and is in need of tennis courts, tennis balls, tennis racquets and nets. The project was launched at Lowerford Baptist church in Coventry, United Kingdom.

The ABTO preliminary round of the Ngoni Kufa Trophy was played at the Southwark City Tennis Club in London

 

Results:

Ladies singles champion was Italian Francesca Di Massimo,

Men's singles champion was another Italian, Claudio Du Mauro

Mixed doubles champions were the Croatian duo of Adelka Cinko & Alex Humski

Men's doubles winners were Claudio Di Mauro & Alex Humski.

The Ngoni Kufa Trophy finals were held at the National Tennis Centre. London.

 

The men's finals winner was John Abraham (Coventry) and the Runner-up was Mutlu Yucebas (ABTO)

and mixed doubles finals winners were Chri Raby/Adelka Cinko (ABTO) and Runner-ups were Andy Pearson/Becky Webb (Coventry)

 

About 30 people, players, parents,spectators and overseas player (Adelka Cinko) attended the venue making it a great success.Please view the gallery for photos.
